Chestertons has continued its London expansion with the acquisition of James Pendleton, a successful agency that has been operating in South London since 2003.
With branches across Wandsworth, Battersea and Clapham, James Pendleton will be absorbed into Chestertons’ growing London network and will continue to offer sales and lettings agency services, property management and a team dedicated to new homes.

Chestertons was bought by the Campions Group at the end of 2023 having acquired several other sales and lettings businesses over the last few years including Henry & James, Behr & Butchoff, Soames, London Residential, Morgan Randall and Snell & Snell. It quickly showed its commitment to growth under the new ownership by buying Featherstone Leigh’s lettings operation in early 2024 and will continue looking for opportunities to expand its London operations.
