Elliott Tooley is a commercially focused business leader with more than 15 years of experience in the residential property industry, specialising in business development, strategic growth and organisational leadership. As Business Development Director at Chestertons, he leads a portfolio of specialist divisions, including, Short Lets, Super Prime Lettings, Corporate Services, New Homes & Investments and the China Desk, with responsibility for driving commercial performance, shaping strategy and developing high-performing teams.
Throughout his career, Elliott has built a reputation for combining commercial ambition with a people-first leadership style. He is passionate about creating businesses that are built to last, establishing clear structures, empowering teams and designing processes that enable consistent, sustainable growth. His experience spans launching new business divisions, leading organisational change, improving operational performance and developing innovative approaches to customer experience and business development.
Having begun his career in corporate relocation before helping establish Hamptons International's short-term rental business across London and the Country markets, Elliott has developed extensive expertise in identifying emerging opportunities and turning strategic ideas into commercially successful businesses.
Elliott holds a BA in History from the University of Bristol, has also completed executive leadership studies at Imperial Business School and is both a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and a qualified member of ARLA Propertymark.
